Deanna and Matt met while attending the University of West Florida. Deanna was a young impressional college girl and Matt was a thrill seeking frat boy. After dating for a couple years they married in California before heading off to Germany for Matt’s first Army overseas assignment. Since then they have lived in Arizona, Japan, California, Virginia, Florida, and Vietnam. While being stationed in California they welcomed baby girl Lily. The House family loves to travel as much as they can, especially while they are living overseas. That is what prompted them to write their book Soldier and Spouse and Their Traveling House. When not traveling, the Houses love to check out local restaurants and cafes. They also love to spend time doing family friendly things with Lily around their current city, wherever that may be at the moment!
